The Summit will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 and will begin at 7:30 A.M. with registration and a continental breakfast and it should end by 3:15 P.M.  There will be a presentation of the progress reports from the previous Economic Summit followed by topic oriented breakout sessions that will last till lunch.  Lunch will be served and there will be a keynote speaker. Groups will then report on the goal they have selected and will explain their action plan to accomplish the goal.

What will happen during the Economic Summit on Jobs?

Participants will go to their breakout session in the morning.  Each category will have a facilitator that will work with the participants in the group to come up with one goal that they believe can be accomplished in the next 12 months. Each group will decide on a plan to accomplish their goal and who will be involved in the next 12 months to bring that goal to fruition. In the afternoon groups will report to the entire body what goal they selected and their plan to get it accomplished.

What will happen after the Economic Summit on Jobs?

We will use the Economic Summit website to post the goal and plan for each group. Each quarter those from the group will be asked to report what has been accomplished and/or obstacles they encountered. The plan is to make this an annual event with new goals selected each year.
